The Riches of Redemption

Man sinned and fell short of the glory of God. Rom.3:23
The aftermath of man fallen short of the glory of God is the manifestation and operation of the force of death culminating in the agonies of death as explained by poverty, curse, sickness and diseases, oppression of the devil, and so on.
Christ death and resurrection terminated the reign of the force of death and introduce into operation the force of life which generates for humanity the pleasures of life including prosperity, blessing, health and wholeness, triumph over satan, and so on.
Everyone who believes in Christ and acknowledges Him as his/her Lord and saviour is considered to be redeemed.
It is essential therefore for believers to understand the worth of their redemption and make the most of it.
That we are redeemed connotes that:
1. we have passed from condemnation into justification. Rom.8:1-2
2.  we have passed from death into life eternal. John 5:24
3. we have overcome the world. 1 John5:4
4.  we have passed from all sorts of curses (curse of the fall, of the law, on the children of Noah, on Gehazi, generational curses of all kinds) into the blessings. Gal.3:9, 13-14
5. we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Col.1:13-14
6. we have escaped from the operation of the law of sin and of death and have come under the operation of the law of the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Rom.8:1-2
7. and such like
If we must enjoy these riches of our redemption, we must:
i. possess an enlightened understanding. Hoshea 4:6, Eph.1:17-19
ii. fight the good fight of faith to lay hold of eternal life. 1 Tim.6:16
iii. maintain righteousness.
